The O+12 System (pronounced “oh plus twelve”) refers to a system to conceive a girl, which proves itself to be a successful system to conceive a girl. This system highly suggests sexual intercourse about 12 hours following the ovulation in order to conceive a girl. That’s how its name comes – O (for ovulation) plus 12 (hours). The O+12 system refutes to the Shettles System, which claims a baby boy will be conceived if you have sexual intercourse on the very day of ovulation. 1. The husband must avoid ejaculating for no less than 7 days before sexual intercourse, the longer the better.

3. Never have any sexual intercourse any more unless you are sure that you are absolutely not fertile.

Before having any more sexual intercourse again, try a contraceptive and/or hang on until both of you are sure that you are absolutely not fertile, since the “fresh” group of sperm are supposed to have more male sperm.

Your fertile stage will have past after you have had THREE or more high temperatures on the BBT chart.

4. You can also follow the following recommended guidance, working together with the O+12 System:

• Adopt diets that help to conceive a girl
• Using supplements (calcium and magnesium, cranberry etc.)

Background of the O+12 System

The O+12 System wasn’t developed by a doctor, or published in a publication. It was in fact first raised by an Australian woman, a Shettles supporter who had got six sons at first and then started to consider that she may conceive a girl by timing sexual intercourse right after ovulation, unlike Shettles’ theory. Finally she delivered a baby girl, and this lady began to share her method with many other mothers. A lot of those mothers succeed to conceive a girl as well.
